From its perch on the 64th floor of the Delano hotel, Skyfall Lounge banks that its cocktails—and not just its 180-degree views of downtown—will draw Vegas visitors’ interest, as well as their dollars.

A daily Sunset Hour promotion plays to the bar’s vantage point, baiting sunset-watchers with a small menu of snacks and drinks from 5 to 7 p.m.

Skyfall Lounge, opened by chef Alain Ducasse last year, runs adjacent to Ducasse’s Rivea restaurant; and during those early evening hours, Rivea customers can make their way from dining room to lounge, Bloomberg notes, perhaps after sipping on the five-course cocktail pairing the restaurant offers for $160.

The bar amps things up as the night goes on, adding DJs and dance music after 9 p.m. For larger groups, Skyfall Lounge offers three punch bowl varieties, and in true Vegas fashion, bottle service is on tap, with high-end mixers for tableside cocktail creation.

"We certainly pushed it with some of the ingredients that went on the [drink] menu," Devon Tarby—a partner at consultancy Proprietors LLC, which Ducasse tapped to create the combined locations’ cocktail lists—told Bloomberg. "And much to our delight, people are cool with it. People are chugging sherry at this bar, and we are psyched."
