Olive Garden says on its website that the chain’s attention-grabbing all-you-can-eat-for-seven-weeks pasta deal might be resurrected on a limited basis.
“Don’t worry—there are still a few more chances to get a pasta pass!,” the Italian chain teases on the web page that was set up for the deal.
Originally, consumers could buy one of the 1,000 passes for $100 via Olive Garden’s website, which reportedly saw visits spike by 500,000. The cards sold out in 45 minutes, and some buyers resold their cards via auction sites for as much as $300.
This time around, the Darden Restaurants holding appears to be giving the cards away as a prize. “Soon, we’ll be surprising our social media fans with ways to win.”
