Concelman Named Executive Vice President of Sysco-Central Florida



He currently serves as senior vice president of merchandising and marketing that Ocoee, FL, operation, and will assume his new role effective Jan. 1, 2007.

Concelman, 46, began his Sysco career in 1990 as a specialist in supplies and equipment for the corporation's Houston operation, then progressed to senior merchandiser of non foods at the Arkansas operating company in 1993. In 1996 he transferred to the Central Florida subsidiary as senior merchandiser of non foods. He was promoted to director of merchandising in 1999, vice president of merchandising in 2001 and assumed his current position in 2006. During his tenure with Sysco, he was a member of the Merchandising Advisory Council and the Strategy Sourcing Initiative.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Concelman was raised in Houston. He earned a Bachelor of business administration degree in 1983 from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. He and his wife Tara have two children and reside in Apopka, FL.
