Technomic asked consumers what restaurant their favorite is and why, and which they visit most often. Their self-recorded, unedited responses reveal a range of brands and rationales. No surprise, favorites not only tend to be higher priced than those frequented, they also elicit more commentary around craveability. Though they seem awfully fond of their most-visited chain as well, even if it’s just to appease their kids or their pocketbook.
