Continental E & J was founded in 1986 as an independent retail goods distributor to the greater San Diego area. Today its primary focus is foodservice products to ethnic-themed restaurant, deli, fast food and national accounts.
As it grows its foodservice business, the distributor expects opportunities in paper, dry, refrigerated, and frozen categories. This is its first association with a buying group affiliation.
