The Counter names Edie Ames president and COO

The Counter Custom Built Burgers has named Edie Ames president and COO, the casual-dining company announced Wednesday.

In her new role, Ames will oversee operations for The Counter and its 4-unit fast-casual sister concept, Built Custom Burgers, the company said. She replaces Bryan Vincentini, who had been president and COO since November 2012.

Ames—who has served as COO of Real Mex Restaurants, COO of the Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group and president of Morton’s Restaurant Group—has “a proven track record of driving a restaurant group to success and sustaining its profitability,” said Craig Albert, co-CEO of The Counter. “We’re excited to have her on board.”
