Dunkin’ Donuts is broadening its test of order-ahead capabilities, as the chain will this week allow rewards program members in the Boston area to place orders via their mobile devices and pick them up in-store, the Boston Herald reports.
The chain previously limited its mobile-ordering test to 125 restaurants in the Portland, Maine, market.

Dunkin’ Donuts is currently trailing its largest competitor when it comes to mobile ordering, as Starbucks rolled out its Mobile Order & Pay functionality chainwide last fall.
