FAB Wins Three Top IFDA Awards

Alpharetta, GA - Frosty Acres Brands, Inc., was recently awarded top Value-Ad Marketing Awards from the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) at the recent IFDA Sales & Marketing Conference in Naples, FL.

FAB received awards in three buying group categories. The first award was in the General Marketing Program category and the entry was the launch of the new brand, Restaurant's Pride. Caroline Perkins, one of the judges for the competition, noted "the logo and sophisticated label development by F.A.B. for its new Restaurant Pride Brand immediately communicates a message of quality." The entry received the Diamond Award, the top award in the category.

In the Image and PR category, FAB won both the Diamond Award and prestigious "Best of Show" award for the development of its Testimonial Video, a direct mail piece designed to attract new member-distributors to the cooperative. Perkins observed "FAB is truly on a roll this year with its marketing strategy...FAB created a striking video to generate excitement...the messages are clear and well-defined."

FAB continued to reinforce its powerful image by winning the Diamond Award in the third buying group category, Media Advertising. The advertisement, entitled "Fiercely Independent", "conveyed the fact that FAB members can compete in the marketplace, while still remaining not just independent, but "Fiercely Independent," says Bob Lerch, another judge.

FAB officials attended the awards ceremony at the recent IFDA conference and were given the opportunity to present the Restaurant's Pride Brand Rollout as well as the testimonial video development to the attendees.

"We are focused on the continued growth and development of our member-distributors and FAB. We are honored to accept these awards and will continue to develop exceptional marketing initiatives in support of our member-distributors," said Jake Marsh, vice president of sales & marketing for marketing group.
