Fazoli’s to hire 500 employees in one-day event

Fazoli’s will Tuesday host its first National Signing Day, during which the chain intends to hire 500 employees in one fell swoop, the Dayton Business Journal reports.

Participating restaurants will interview applicants and give on-the-spot offers for front- and back-of-the-house positions, the Business Journal says. 

“Business is really booming, thanks to improvements in our food and the addition of table service,” Fazoli’s CEO Carl Howard told the Business Journal. “Plus, we are getting ready to open several new locations.”

The Italian chain is following the lead of Chipotle, which earlier this year conducted its own event to hire 4,000 employees in a single day.
