Five Nicholas Drivers Place Top 15 in Utah Truck Driving Competition

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (June 11, 2011)—Five Nicholas & Company drivers competed in the annual Utah Truck Driving Competition. Nicholas & Company driver Steve Tribe won first place in the 5-axle competition, and all five drivers finished in the top 15.

All drivers must be accident free to participate and they competed in written, pre-trip inspections and a six-problem driving course in nine categories. The event is sponsored and conducted by the Utah Safety Management Council and held at the Utah State Fairpark.

Winner Steve Tribe will represent Nicholas & Company at the 2011 National Truck Driving Championships in Orlando, Florida on August 9 – 13, 2011, and will be recognized at the Annual UTA Safety Awards Banquet to be held on September 23, 2011 at the Little America Hotel.
