FPI Opens Door to Foodservice Distributors and Groups

"With the success we've had in attracting foodservice operators to join our association, it was a natural progression to expand the membership to include foodservice distributors and group purchasing operations," said John R. Burke, president. "The more we open the lines of communication throughout the entire foodservice packaging supply chain, the more it's a win-win opportunity for all of us.

Burke said that he hoped that distributors and GPOs would take advantage of the non-dues affiliate membership in the FPI, and encouraged interested parties to contact him or Lynn Dyer, director of research and communications.
