Two young men from Buffalo, New York, were heading to Florida in 1979 when they stopped in Atlanta, where they wound up buying a small taco shack called Taco Mac’s and founding a chain specializing in Buffalo wings. The chain, under the banner of the Tappan Street Restaurant Group, claims to have the largest selection of micro-brewed and imported beers in the South. Buffalo wings dominate the menu along with a variety of moderately priced entrees.
