Rosa Mexicano Restaurants is a modern casual-dining concept with a stylishly festive atmosphere and food that’s “not the Mexican you expect.” The concept operates both freestanding and endcap locations, which seat 175 to 200 patrons. Bold and modern interiors showcase a grand staircase of orange and red terrazzo stone slabs and a 30-foot water wall made of blue glass tiles featuring tiny cliff-diving figurines. Restaurants offer dine-in and takeout for brunch, lunch and dinner. The first Rosa Mexicano restaurant opened in New York City in 1984, and there are now 15 locations in nine states and Washington, DC.
