Founded by two Chicago taxi drivers who couldn’t spend another minute in Windy City traffic, this deep-dish pizza chain has departed from its humble roots and gone global after 50 years of slinging pie stateside. Last summer, the chain expanded internationally in Mexico City. Gino’s brought its Mexican-inspired menu to a new unit in Chicago’s predominantly Latino neighborhood of Pilsen.
