Gordon Food Service Moves New Headquarters

WYOMING (January 11, 2011 - Michigan Business Review)—Instead of a new office building near its current campus at Clay Avenue and 50th Street SW, Gordon Food Service, Inc. now plans a new headquarters about two miles away.

The food-service distributor aims to start construction this spring, relocating in summer 2012 more than 1,000 office employees to a new complex on Gezon Parkway SW, between Burlingame and Clyde Park avenues.

”Gordon Food Service has grown over the years and is in need of additional office space,” said Deb Abraham, spokeswoman for the privately-owned firm, in a statement.
