(August 14, 2012)—Heidi Weiss has joined the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) as the association’s director of member retention and recruitment. Her duties include developing strategies to retain existing members, recruiting new members, and to increase member participation and ensure an overall positive member experience.
“Heidi brings a wealth of experience and energy to the position and will work with IFDA members to make sure they are fully engaged and getting value out of their dues investment,” said IFDA President & CEO Mark Allen. “We are excited to have her join the IFDA team and look forward to her becoming a valuable asset to our membership.”
Ms. Weiss has more than 20 years of association experience including the past 7 years at the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA). At NCMA, she oversaw the retention and recruitment of member companies and also managed trade show sales and advertising. Prior to joining NCMA, she worked in marketing for Pepco Energy Services and held membership roles with both the National Association of Home Builders and the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association.
