ID NEWS: PepsiCo results not impacted by USF, Fleming woes

PepsiCo, Inc., Purchase, NY, says problems at U.S. Foodservice (USF), Columbia, MD, and Fleming Companies, Dallas, will not have a material impact on its financials, according to a Reuters report.

Nor has PepsiCo been contacted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) concerning its sales to USF, PepsiCo CFO Indra Nooyi said, during a morning conference call.

The branded supplier of snack and drink products recorded a 13% increase in first-quarter profits and says it sees no reason for a change in long-term outlook for increasing volume and net revenue at mid-single-digit percentage rates.
