ID NEWS: Vistar promotes Mulhern

Vistar Corp., Denver, has announced the promotion of Patrick Mulhern from senior vice president to executive vice president. He adds management of national account foodservice to existing responsibilities of directing the distributor's merchandising, marketing, logistics and information services functions.

Formerly the Multifoods Distribution Group, Vistar was founded in September 2002, following divestiture by International Multifoods Corp. to Wellspring Capital Management LLC, a New York-based private equity investment company.
