Latest Study Slots 'Elite' Manufacturers, Operators;Distributors Should Partner with Firms Offering

NEW YORK - The latest survey of elite food manufacturers provides foodservice distributors with a wealth of information about which potential vendor-partners can offer the best strategic support in meeting customer needs.

Foodservice operators have again ranked Tyson, Coca-Cola, General Mills and Kraft among the leading food manufacturers based on a 10-point scale, according to the second annual FoodservicElite benchmarking study, titled "Beyond the Basics," that was conducted jointly by Cannondale Associates, Inc., and Cognitio, LLC.
