Jimmy John’s makes new hires in the C-suite

The sandwich chain has named new development and marketing officers.

Jimmy John’s is making changes to its executive team, hiring a chief marketing officer and chief development officer.

Stephen Piacentini, who spent more than a decade with Taco Bell in a variety of roles (including leading the brand’s Cantina project), is Jimmy John’s new chief development officer, while John Shea, former head of global markets for Gatorade, was named chief marketing officer.

The new hires are focused on growing the sandwich chain.

“I’m motivated by building and growing brands, and I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best in the world,” Shea said in a statement. “We have a tremendous runway for growth."
