Noodles & Co. names Ken Kuick CFO

Noodles & Co. on Friday named Ken Kuick the company’s new chief financial officer.

The Broomfield, Colo.-based fast-casual chain also promoted Melissa Heidman to executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.

“We have strengthened our executive team with the addition of two new leaders,” CEO Dave Boennighausen said in a statement.

He said that Kuick “brings extensive leadership experience and expertise in accounting and finance” to the company. And he called Heidman “a tremendous asset to our company.”

Kuick had been the chief accounting officer at Vici Properties, a real estate investment trust spun out of Caesars Entertainment Corp. He had previously been Caesars chief accounting officver and played a role in the company’s emergence from bankruptcy. He takes over as CFO next month.

Heidman had been acting general counsel since September and has worked with the company since 2011.
