Legacy Foodservice Alliance Announces New Executive

RICHMOND, VA (May 6, 2011)—Legacy Foodservice Alliance, LLC announced Teresa Hickman has joined the organization, working in member development.

Ms. Hickman's industry experience spans 20+ years, having first worked in the family restaurant business. For the last 11 years, she was engaged in the distributor purchasing group segment of the industry working closely with independent distributors and group suppliers. Her career path prior to Legacy Foodservice Alliance included Pocahontas Foods USA and Progressive Group Alliance.

In her new role Ms. Hickman will be responsible for expanding the reach of the Legacy distribution network and for enhancing the sales interaction between Legacy Distributor and Supplier Members.

Legacy executive vice president of sales Deb Winter said, “Teri will fill an important role in our member sales and support strategy.” Her experience in working with distributors and suppliers uniquely qualifies her to help the Legacy member network grow in the future.”
