Hooters buys a private island
Hooters says it’s expanding its brand with the purchase of a private island off the coast of Mexico, which will be home to a world-class resort, outdoor excursions and, naturally, Hooters restaurants. Customers who don’t mind chicken wings as a co-pilot would have the option to fly there via Hooters Air.
A beef-centric chain gets into beauty
Beefeater Grill has a fix for those who’d like to have their steak and get a tan, too. The British casual-dining chain shared its newest product: Steak Tan, a line of fake tanners made from “real steak juices.” Shades range from rare to well done.
