Einstein Bros. hawks bath products to promote new LTO

The brand’s Cheesy Shampoo and Wakin’ Bacon Conditioner are available to order online.

It may be less than two weeks before April Fool’s Day, but Einstein Bros. Bagels’ latest promo is no joke.

The fast-casual chain just launched a limited-time cheese-scented shampoo and an eau de bacon conditioner, available online for $9.99.

The Cheesy Shampoo and Wakin’ Bacon Conditioner support the release of the brand’s limited-time Cheesy Wakin’ Bacon sandwich.

"This is the ultimate breakfast aperitif—now our fans can shower themselves with mouthwatering scents, leaving them looking as incredible as they smell edible, all day long,” Kerry Coyne, the chain’s senior vice president of marketing, said in a news release.

Chains are increasingly building their brands through sales of nonfood items. KFC, for example, launched a full line of branded mugs, apparel, prints, accessories and wrapping paper for the holidays on its e-commerce store.
