Survey: Starbucks’ app is top among users

New data reveals consumers’ favorite restaurant loyalty apps.

Starbucks has the most popular restaurant loyalty app, according to a new survey.

Some 48% of the 511 smartphone users surveyed by business site The Manifest say they regularly use the Starbucks app.

Domino’s is the second most popular restaurant app, according to The Manifest, with 34% of respondents reporting that they regularly use it.

Other popular apps include Pizza Hut (30%), McDonald’s (30%), Panera (27%) and Dunkin’ Donuts (23%).

Additional takeaways from the survey include:

  • Fifty percent of smartphone users say they use branded restaurant loyalty apps.
  • Just 24% of smartphone owners report using a food-delivery app regularly.
  • Nearly three-quarters (72%) of respondents say they use restaurant loyalty apps for the rewards, such as free drinks and birthday meals.
