Sales and foodservice veterans Richard Killion, Stephen Sacco, Bill Sakillares, Tony Abruzzese, Mark Cricchi, Albert Tulli and Paul Trottier have joined the AGAR team as territory representatives and will be responsible for specific Massachusetts and Connecticut regions, as well as fortifying AGAR's position throughout New England.
"Our seven new reps are a welcome and necessary addition to help AGAR meet the demands of its growing customer base," said Karen Bressler, ceo. "Their many years of combined experience in the foodservice industry and hands-on skill in driving sales growth will be of great value as we continue to grow our business. We are looking to create the most skilled and experienced work force in the foodservice industry and these new additions will expand our sales efforts and also serve as excellent advisors to our customers."
All of the new sales people have a broadline foodservice background that will be supplemented by AGAR's strong experience in COP products. Before joining F.A.B. member AGAR, Killion was a marketing associate for Hallsmith Sysco Foodservices and has more than 20 years of experience in the foodservice industry. Trottier was involved with outside sales and territory management for various foodservice companies throughout New England for more than 25 years, while Sacco has 20 years of experience in food sales, food preparation and kitchen management.
Tulli has more than 10 years of management and cooking experience at local and resort restaurants while Cricchi has 15 years experience in sales, including owning the Old School House Deli in Madison, CT. Tulli and Cricchi will focus on the Connecticut marketplace. Abruzzese, formerly of Don's Sausage, has 20 years of pizza and sub shop experience, while Sakillares was promoted from customer service to territory manager and will join Abruzzese as a pizza and sub shop specialist.
