New Expo to Focus on Packaging for Distributors

The new show is called DistriPakUSA and replaces the general "PackUSA" to support the distributor in channel more effectively, according to NPTA Alliance president, Bill Frohlich. The show is designed for the distribution trade, which markets products and services sold by packaging companies.

"The evolution of DistriPakUSA continues to bring the new show clarity and focus on the products and services sold by distributors," said Frohlich. "Change in this early stage of the show's development is helping answer questions about the function of the show and give greater sense of purpose to our efforts. Our name reinforces our commitment to the distribution channel."

Some 150 companies that manufacture packaging products sold by distributors will exhibit their wares, where an anticipated 5,000 visitors will gather. Products for wrapping, packaging, filling, labeling, and shipping will be featured along with distributor support services.

DistriPakUSA will take place in Chicago's McCormick Place , Oct. 4
