To add topspin to its sales-boosting efforts, Bar Louie has named former LYFE Kitchen marketing chief Stephanie Hoppe as its new CMO.

Hoppe—who held high-level marketing and menu innovation roles at Red Robin, Lone Star Steakhouse and 7-Eleven prior to her time at LYFE Kitchen—joined the 114-unit chain a few months ago.

Since coming to the casual-dining brand, Hoppe has been charged with boosting brand awareness at national and “hyperlocal” levels, and has even helped develop a new LTO, the Spiked Bulleit Bourbon Burger, Bar Louie said.

“[Hoppe] has a proven track record of success with each of the brands she has worked with,” Bar Louie CEO John Neitzel said in a statement. “As we open new franchise and corporate locations, [she] will be growing our awareness not only through relevant marketing strategies, but also developing food and beverage innovations that are on trend and spot-on with our customer base.”
