After expanding its test of mobile ordering earlier this year, Dunkin’ Donuts will on Monday roll out order-ahead capabilities nationwide via its new app, CNBC reports.

The service is limited to members of the chain’s rewards program, DD Perks, a factor that Dunkin' Brands CEO Nigel Travis said should help grow the program. Members will pay for mobile orders cashlessly, using a Dunkin’ Donuts card.

The chain has lagged its largest competitor when it comes to mobile ordering, as Starbucks completed the nationwide rollout of its order-ahead service in September.

Other QSRs have this week announced strides in mobile ordering and payment tech, as KFC rolled out mobile pay capabilities in U.S. stores and Chick-fil-A launched order-ahead chainwide through its new Chick-fil-A One app.

Dunkin’ Donuts underwent a small mobile-ordering test in the Portland, Maine, market late last year, later expanding the efforts to its hometown of Boston.
