Jose Andres teams up with Compass

Jose Andres’ ThinkFoodGroup has partnered with foodservice vendor Compass, enabling the two parties to collaborate at venues such as stadiums and college campuses.

“With this partnership, we have the opportunity to tell stories and connect with people through food on an entirely new level,” Andres said in a release.

The three-year team-up comes shortly after Andres opened a ThinkFoodLab pop-up in Washington, D.C., which will serve as a space for the restaurant group to develop and test recipes.

ThinkFoodGroup was this year named one of Restaurant Business’ Power 20 multiconcept operators, thanks to the expansion of the group’s veggie-forward fast casual, Beefsteak, and recent headlines related to Andres’ stance on immigration and legal challenges over a restaurant slated for a Trump hotel.
