Seeking a more modern look, the Krystal burger chain is rolling out its first new restaurant design in over a decade.

Due to open this week, the prototype restaurant in Marietta, Ga., will feature brighter colors, modern artwork, LED lighting and an enhanced digital menu board. A clock tower will be a focal point of the restaurant, according to the chain, to convey that guests can visit the location “around the clock.”

Krystal will also debut a suite of frozen items at the unit, including handspun shakes, soft serve, Kool-Aid slushies and a caramel iced coffee drink.

The chain says it plans to expand the prototype design to additional markets.
