Pizza Ranch has been connected to an E.coli outbreak that sickened nine customers in seven states, the Des Moines Register reports.

The outbreakwhich occured between December and Februarywas tied to a dry baking mix used in the chain’s desserts. However, bacteria was not found when samples of the mix were later tested, according to the Des Moines Register.

Pizza Ranch says it has adopted precautionary cleaning procedures at all of its locations, and no units were closed as a result of the outbreak.
