Red Robin names Denny Post as CCO

The Red Robin casual dining chain has promoted Denny Post to the newly created position of chief concept officer, with responsibility for franchising, marketing, menu development and concept evolution.

Post, a longtime veteran of restaurant marketing, will also serve as executive vice president of the company.

In addition, she continues to serve as president of Red Robin’s Canadian arm.

She is succeeded as chief marketing officer by Lee Dolan, who also now holds the title of senior vice president. Dolan joined the company in 2013 after heading up brand marketing for the Cabela’s outdoor-outfitting chain.
Post has served in a number of marketing, concept development and menu planning posts for a variety of restaurant chains during her multi-decade career. Included were stints as chief concept officer for Burger King and chief innovation officer for KFC.

She has also worked for T-Mobile and Starbucks.
