Nicholas & Co. Receives Three Statewide Awards



First, Nicholas & Co. was named as one of the "Best Company to Work For" by the Department of Workforce Services. This is the fifth straight year Nicholas & Co. has earned this honor. The award recognizes companies with family-friendly programs and/or policies addressing topics such as child care, elder care, flexible scheduling, community involvement or any other means of providing support and resources to their employees.

Nicholas & Co. values its employees and their input, according to Peter Mouskondis, president: "We are committed to making progress as promised by listening to opinions and responding to needs."

Additionally, Nicholas & Co. earned the "Best of State" award as the food services/distribution selection in the Business Services category. The Best of State award honors excellence in Utah businesses, organizations and individuals. Winners are selected based on their merits according to how they excel in their endeavors, use innovative methods and contribute to a better quality of life in Utah. This is the second time Nicholas & Co. has earned this honor since its inception in 2003.

Finally, Nicholas & Co., No. 17 in the ID Top 50 and a member of DMA, IMA, Markon and IFDA, was named as one of Utah's "Top 100 Private Companies" by Utah Business Magazine.
