GOLDSBORO, NC (July 26, 2010)—Foodservice distributor Pate Dawson Company announced today that meat industry veteran Bill Mutton has been named president of its new Meat and Seafood Solutions, LLC subsidiary.
The company created Meat and Seafood Solutions recently to operate the assets it acquired of fellow North Carolina food distributor Southern Foods Group. In his new role, Mutton will report to Pate Dawson Chief Executive Officer Malcolm ‘Mac’ Sullivan.
“We’re looking forward to drawing on Bill’s experience, knowledge and lifelong involvement in the meat industry,” said Sullivan.
Mutton most recently was vice president of Performance Food Group where he oversaw meat-processing operations at PFG companies across the country.
