Produce Alliance Adds Worldwide Produce to Member Roster

According to a report in The Packer, a leading produce industry publication, Worldwide executives pointed to Produce Alliance’s purchasing programs, commitment to quality, access to national and regional foodservice chains, and opportunities for networking with peers as reasons for joining the alliance.

Stuart Weisfeld, a principal shareholder at Worldwide, said in the report that his company anticipates 10 percent to 15 percent growth as a result of joining forces with Produce Alliance.

Worldwide Produce is a foodservice-focused specialist with strong regional presence in southern California. The company operates from a 33,000-square-foot distribution center in Los Angeles.
