Grilled ham with sauteed vegetables, jalapenos and white American cheese on a hoagie bun.
6-8 oz. ham, shaved or thinly sliced
Hoagie or “Philly” roll, split and toasted or grilled
2 oz. sliced, sautéed onions
2 oz. sliced, sautéed bell pepper
2 oz. sliced, sautéed mushrooms
3 slices white American cheese
Sliced jalapeños, if desired
Grill or griddle ham until heated through and lightly browned. Arrange ham on the bottom half of hoagie, top with sautéed vegetables and cheese, and toast or grill to melt cheese. Top with sliced jalapeños if desired and serve immediately.
