An updated presentation for an old favorite. These mini salmon burgers are full of flavor and look great on the plate.
10 oz. skinless salmon fillet, cut into chunks
3 tbsp. tartar sauce
1 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
Salt and pepper
4 mini burger buns or whole wheat rolls, toasted
4 red onion rings
2 tbsp. sour cream
Dill sprigs, for garnish
1. Combine salmon, tartar sauce, chopped dill, lemon peel, and salt and pepper to taste in food processor. Process until coarsely ground. Form into 4 small patties.
2. Grill salmon patties about 2 min. per side until cooked through. Place on toasted buns and top with onion rings, sour cream, and dill sprigs.
