Beverage consultants Paul Tanguay and Tad Carducci of the Tippling Bros. created several cocktails for Mercadito featuring tea-infused tequila. The Pera Te combines black tea-infused Cazadores blanco tequila, mezcal, pear puree, fresh lime juice and agave nectar for a smoky-sweet winter drink with a smooth finish.
1 1/2 oz. black tea-infused blanco tequila
1/4 oz. mezcal
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
3/4 oz. agave nectar
1/2 oz. pear puree
Fresh pear slice
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, mezcal, lime juice, agave and pear puree; shake until blended and pour into rocks glass.
- Dust pear slice with chili powder; use to garnish drink.
