A fruit dessert doesn’t have to scream “healthy,” as this recipe proves. The pineapple, kiwis, berries and banana are layered for dazzling presentation and maximum flavor.
Signature 118 Vanilla Sauce
1 1/2 cups macadamia nuts
1/4 cup agave or raw honey
1 tbsp. natural vanilla flavor or vanilla paste
1 tsp. sea salt
1 cup coconut water
1/2 cup Signature 118 Vanilla Sauce
- Prepare Signature 118 Vanilla Sauce: In blender container, combine all ingredients; blend on high speed until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Prepare Sandwich: Slice the pineapple cross-wise into thirds creating three sections. Slice the rest of the fruit lengthwise.
- Using 1 section of pineapple as the base, spread on a layer of sauce followed by a layer of fruit. Top with another pineapple section and repeat.
