Restaurant Business becomes media partner of fast casual conference

Restaurant Business magazine, the print sister of restaurantbusiness.com, has signed on as media partner for the National Restaurant Association Fast Casual 2012: Trends & Directions Conference, a new event devoted to the fast-casual sector.

The conference is a collaboration of the NRA, Technomic, and Digital Coco, a social media research and consulting concern. It is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Dallas’ Union Station.

Among the topics to be addressed are menu and culinary trends within the fast-casual market; the segment’s hot concepts; and consumer perceptions of the upscale quick-service sector.

Members of the NRA’s Fast Casual Industry Council will participate in an executive roundtable discussion of their channel and where it’s headed.

As media partner, Restaurant Business will cover the conference through its pages, restaurantbusiness.com, and Restaurant Business Outbound.
