The Mexican fast-food chain, the nation’s fourth-largest restaurant brand, believes there’s “no reason” it can’t have the same number of restaurants in the U.S. as the Golden Arches.

The fiery items debuted in the early 2000s, when the star was at her hottest. Now she’s partnering up to offer hot tips on Taco Bell’s first-ever advice hotline.

The company said that Taco Bell’s effort to cancel its registration is designed “to sell more tacos” and cause Taco John’s “to sell less tacos.”

The Brooklyn artist, known as It’s a Living, put his own spin on the fast-food chain’s uniforms. For the company, the goal is simple: Workers like cool outfits.

The deal gives the Greenwich, Conn.-based operator 115 of the Mexican fast-food chain's restaurants to go along with 65 Dunkin’ locations.

The Mexican fast-food chain will test the product, in development for years, for a limited time in Los Angeles, New York City and Orlando.

The Bottom Line: The owner of Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut and Habit has declined as much as 10% since reporting what Gibbs called a “blowout” first quarter. And the company argues that it could easily weather a downturn.

The NBA star, who once tried to register the phrase himself, is joining the effort to cancel Taco John’s trademark.

The fast-food Mexican chain has petitioned the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to end Taco John’s registration for the Taco Tuesday trademark, which it has owned for years.
