The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president, saying it believes she will stand up for the rights of working people if elected.

“Hillary Clinton has proven she will fight, deliver and win for working families,” SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry said in a statement. “SEIU members and working families across America are part of a growing movement to build a better future for their families, and Hillary Clinton will support and stand with them.”

Clinton had in recent months given words of support to the Fight for $15, the SEIU’s most visible effort of late.

The SEIU’s endorsement follows those of other large labor unions also backing Clinton, including the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and multiple teachers’ unions.
