Some Mama Fu’s units to deliver beer

Mama Fu’s restaurants in the Asian chain’s hometown of Austin, Texas, will begin this weekend to offer delivery of chilled beer.

Customers have a choice of six brands, and the standard order is a six-pack. The fast-casual chain is marketing the beer as an accompaniment to a food order rather than a standalone delivery item. No minimum purchase is required.

Mama Fu’s website lists six locations in the Austin area.

Fourteen Mama Fu’s restaurants are currently open in the U.S., with six more under development.
