Sysco Declares 137th Straight Dividend

HOUSTON - Sysco Corp. (NYSE:SYY) today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.13 per share, payable on July 23, to common shareholders of record at the close of business on July 2. The dividend payment is the 137th consecutive in SYSCO's 34-year history.

For the first 39 weeks of fiscal 2004, which ended March 27, the company reported sales of $21.2 billion and net earnings of $626.6 million.

Sysco is the largest foodservice marketing and distribution organization in North America, generating sales of $27.5 billion for calendar year 2003.
