Technomic, GuestMetrics form Strategic Alliance

The partnership will allow both companies to develop detailed analytics and reports using GuestMetrics's aggregated point-of-sale data from over 2,500 restaurants, bars and other away from home locations in 10 markets nationally. Using the data, Technomic will develop unique, first-of-its-kind analysis and reporting tools on beverage alcohol sales and food consumption away from home.

“We're very excited about the longer term opportunities this partnership provides us. The combination of GuestMetrics' data and our in-depth analysis and reporting will give the industry something it has been seeking for a long time," stated Darren Tristano, executive vice president of Technomic.

In its announcement, GuestMetrics is described as the leading provider of Customer Insight Solutions for the hospitality industry and its suppliers/distributors. The GuestMetrics software is fully integrated with the leading point-of-sale (POS) systems and allows hospitality providers at every level of the market to improve business operations.

For the first time in the marketplace, GuestMetrics, through its data mining process, provides beverage alcohol and food suppliers with actionable insight into consumer behavior at the guest check-level. Its clients range from “world-class beverage alcohol suppliers to fine dining establishments and regional/national restaurant chains.”
