Technomic to Study Large-Order Opportunities for Chains

The study, titled LOOP: Large Orders Off-Premise, will focus on the most lucrative targets: office and business meetings, training sessions, hospitals and medical offices, and business promotional events.

Several chains have already reported double-digit same-store sales increases by focusing on this niche opportunity, according to Technomic. The study is expected to compile original market data and guide sponsors in identifying and building awareness among potential customers, adapting menus for greater off-premise appeal, adjusting operational processes for order-taking and fulfillment, and recommendations on numerous other key issues for success.

Both limited-service and casual-dining chains are invited to participate in this study, which will include proprietary questions (with confidential reporting) for chains that join prior to conducting the field research.
