Christina Koliopoulos, a spokesperson for USF, told the AP that an unspecified number of the jobs will be transferred to a second Stock Yards operation in Plymouth, Minnesota, while others will be eliminated. The goal: reduce costs and eliminate duplication.
The operation in South St. Paul currently has about 125 workers. USF acquired Stock Yards in 2000.
