Vest Named Executive Vice President of Sysco-Kansas City



Vest has served most recently as senior vice president of this operation and will assume his new position effective Jan. 1, 2007.

Vest, 41, first joined the Kansas City operation in 1993 as a merchandising trainee and became a marketing associate the following year. In 1999 he was promoted to district sales manager, advancing to regional sales manager in 2001 and then director of business development and review in 2004. Vest was named vice president of business development and review in 2005 and earlier this year he was appointed to his current position.

Vest was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, and attended the Emporia State University in Emporia, KS. He and his wife, Holly, have two children and reside in Olathe, KS.
