Vinyard Fruit & Vegetable Signs with Pro*Act

Vinyard, a family-run business established in 1969, is a locally-owned processor as well as a foodservice distributor. Fueled by the success of its original line of Jack's Fresh-Cut potatoes and Vinyard's Veggies processed fruits and vegetables, the company now operates out of a 40,000-sq.-ft.facility, maintaining a fleet of refrigerated trucks, and distributing a wide variety of fresh commodity, value-added, and specialty produce throughout western and southern Oklahoma.

Roy Vinyard, president of the distributorship, observed, "Our newly renovated facility has enhanced our already unique ability to meet each and every one of our customers' needs. Our recently added warehouse space has allowed us to further expand our tomato and bulk produce re-packing operations. Becoming a Pro*Act distributor fits perfectly with our plans to grow our foodservice distribution operations. Pro*Act's procurement, marketing, and technology programs provide us with resources that will greatly enhance our ability to quickly grow our market share."

Lloyd Ligier, vice president of business development for Pro*Act, noted, "Vinyard distribution area is a perfect complement to our existing distributor in Tulsa, OK, Tulsa Fruit. The Oklahoma market is an important one for many of our national clients and the addition of Vinyard to our network gives us complete coverage in the state."
